PPIR !! OH, I'm sorry. I'll keep this simple and just post my excitement to my private message folder.

Can I ask one question first ?

Will people that didn't attend the meeting be allowed to race in the series?

Rod,

Sorry if I came off negatively in that last post. I am just trying to help answer questions just like you did for me.

I hope you race SKUSA Rod, and continue to make masters THE GREATEST SHOW ON ASPHALT!!!!!!!

I am so excited to see SKUSA set up a region right in our back yard. Why? SKUSA is a big, highly respected national sanctioning body; and when we need to restore peace and order to our little world that's exactly what we need. Among other things that SKUSA brings, it brings a solid, well established rues & regulation package that's adopted across the country, not just in one state. The SKUSA guys in California run it, the SKUSA guys in Hawaii run it, and even Michael Schumacher in Las Vegas ran it. After attending the Supernationals for the last two years as a spectator/tuner, I have nothing but good to say about how SKUSA runs an event. I worked corners at the Denver Grand Prix years ago, and the Supernationals really did feel like a true professional racing event. If we bring that same professionalism with the SKUSA MR to our state, i will be very happy.

Is SKUSA the magic bullet fix to all our racing ails?

Absolutely not. But it's a start. I think that Tony is onto something when he says that there is a real good chance of good things happening. After hearing Sam Walls' sales pitch at the meeting, and seeing who's involved in this, it could not be in more capable hands. To top it all off, the price point isn't much higher than years past.

I know i'm getting an itchy trigger finger. I have a Spec Moto engine in the mail right now, and I can't wait to swap gears. This SKUSA deal convinced me to get one; after all, they made USA shifter kart racing what it is today!

Besides, how cool is it that we will get to run at PPIR? :o
