What???

Brad or Jim...Please clarify.

So, 12 races across 4 tracks. To earn punches for Grands, a driver must compete in a total of 4 events in Rotax Trim honoring all Rotax rules. If a discrepancy exists between the two sets of rules being run on the track at the same time, I assume the Rotax rules will apply to those earning punches.

4 Punches in Rotax trim to qualify for Grands?

Will you give separate points to the Rotax 'winner' in a class, etc.? Or, will all racers receive points according to finishing order?

12 points races available at two tracks, IMI & THeTrack ,Rotax rules, you need four to qualify for the grands. IMI will be scoring them separately from TAG and will be giving daily awards and also season awards to the Rotax entrants who make 50% of the IMI Rotax races.

"SSC has sanctioned IMI Motorsports Inc. to include the Rotax Challenge Series to their 2009 club racing program. IMI will be running the Rotax classes according to the rules established by the Rotax Challenge Series. Drivers racing in a minimum of three of the sanctioned events will qualify to attend the 2009 Rotax Grand National race in Norman Oklahoma."

Brad you might want to change your home page 3 race minimum ?

Hey Hot Rod,

It might be that you have to run 4 races to qualify for the Grands, but it is a minimum of 3 in your declared home series.

So, any combo of 4 races but at least 3 here in Colorado (Jim's or Brads) and I understand there is a club race at Norman Ok.in July. That might be a good approach for the 4th race. 25% of your qualifying effort for the Grands could take place on the circuit the event is being contested. 3 in Colorado and the 4th in Ok. Then try to find where the biggest fields in Colorado will be considering the multitude of choices and get in some good practice.

Hey Ricky/Hot Rod
 The Rotax qualifying race in Oklahoma is the first weekend in May not JULY.
It is my plan to attend the Norman Rotax midwestern series race in May as a qualifying/practice for Nationals. I too hope to be racing in the Race of the Rockies series Tag Masters/ Motori.
Thats my Race schedule for 09

 Gunter's plans are Race Rockies, CSC, and club events at the track that suit his mood. Being the greedy racer he is he will be registered for Seniors and Masters. LOL
